Empty

There is no me, without you; A full moon, a swollen lagoon... A lollipop, a child's smile; Wild orchards, line the Nile; A Whisper, "fuck"; a tug, a grasp; Your tussled hair, go slow, go fast... A vaunted film, a first respite, ends where we began, combustion delight.. If there was ever a question, it's abundantly clear, without you I'm empty, I love you, my dear... V.L October 6, 2019

Surely this is heaven.

Surely this is heaven. A return from the outside world where we aim for nothing more than to make each other feel good toes curled tune out the background melody tune in to your sweet touch- my remedy A dusty rose blanket a bed of sweet surrender you lay me down passionately but always supple and tender a stroke and a simultaneous, brush of hair off my face I trace a faint stream of silky sweat down to the place; that gives me such pleasure when you are I are one I will always remember... Looking in your eyes like I never have before Surely this is heaven that always leaves me wanting more Won't you do it one more time? before I go and leave Days later, the memories offer me desperate reprieve- from missing you two minutes and twenty-three seconds into my drive A preset seat a rear-view mirror your was as you walk the pups; googbye everything flashes all at once even our sipped liquid love the thoughts could conceive goosebumps a thin ...

Undone

Like bottles of lightening, and claps of thunder, a never ending dance... Sometimes far off, so beautiful, and gentle, you don't dare whisper it, lest it disappear... Other times, menacing, the smell of electricity, the rumble in your gut, the sheer power of something beyond ourselves... we can't be undone. V.L Aug. 22, 2019

Stolen Moments

All the places our hands have held clasped tightly above sea-glass shelled shores a two-wheeled leisurely ride; love tours fingertips against forearm veins blood vessels constricting upon your touch a driftwood seat, just you and I I have never wanted something so much your eyes, into mine bodies, intertwined I see you like I never have before the most beautiful sunset the most plentiful amount of butterflies the most sponge cloud-painted skies the most passionate love, ever contrived barefoot children, running in grass ice-cream dripping down; a cone that won't last a future that will be ours in due-time in the interim we steal moments between the wineries green earthly vine moments where we stop to take in the scene tip-toe to the pinnacle of the pier an inestimable treasured dream sparkling bay "And"; a canvas sail-riddled surface with eyes fluttered shut one ear to the water and one ear to your heart a place I literally and figuratively wish, to never part live street...

Such a way

The slightest touch of your fingertips, releasing a cascade of butterflies, for so long dormant from the depths of my soul, such a way... The depths of your eyes, so leveling, experiencing at once the fear that you must be a figment of my imagination, and the euphoria that I will never spend another day without you, such way... Your words, bathed in thought, conjured from the deepest recesses of a heart so pure, so true, such a way... Your selfless nature, kindness, optimism; such a way... How you see me, get me, get us... such a way... V.L Sept. 2, 2019

Boutique Italian

Boutique Italian, A quiet summer night... two minds work as one, such scrumptious delights.. The very first touch, palms soft, and bare, resemble a union that had long since been there... What couldn't be seen could be felt, all the same... an embrace that set conjoined souls aflame... And whilst stardust fluttered, to each separate ways, her essence imbued, and forever stays... Somehow

Somehow, to teach, a dream come true; kindness, dignity, a spiritual tattoo . . . Somehow, in the midst, a lioness awakes; reminded of what matters, of all that's at stake . . . Somehow, in space, in chaos, in time; do soft glances meet and souls entwine. . . Somehow, convention, a veiled tableau; does logic concede and hearts overflow. . . somehow, what once seemed a natural end; best friends, lovers, does history amend. . . V.L

Kindred Spirits

Kindred Spirits Even if I knew of our ephemeral destiny I would still traverse the seas in the hopes of you finding me An unbridled abundance of built up appetency Let the waves glide the bottom of the boat one after another a rhythmic float Will you know me beyond the anchor I've dropped here, my dear? Incredibly far, won't you be advantageously near? Orient Point at dusk or dawn Your silhouette there in sweet dreams Where you and I belong How I would wait with time Stretch my soul beyond space Care beyond reason. Love beyond fate If you'd dare against destiny as my soul patiently await A.S Aug. 9, 2019
